The Left Has Found It's Secret Weapon

The Left has discovered its secret weapon – the media.

Highlight any wrong, real or imagined, that your opponent does.  Cry out from the mountain tops that your opposition screwed up/is wrong/is stupid.

Conveniently ignore anything your opponent does that’s good, correct, neutral, or anything other than something bad.

Then, rely on Hitler’s media principle – repeat a lie long enough and people will believe it, the bigger the lie the better.

The Right has no counter to this secret weapon, and the Center isn’t a palpable entity.

So we’ll continue to be fed the lies from the Left, and more people will believe those lies to be the truth.

This is why Bush’s approval rating is low:

Iraq – Big Lie: it’s a failure.  Reality: converting a totalitarian dictatorship to a democracy in 2.5 years, building infrastructure, schools is nothing short of incredible.

Reasons for being in Iraq – Big Lie: US Imperialism/Big Oil/Bush Hubris.  Reality: Strong evidence of WMD’s in Iraq; Clear support for terrorist organizations; Iraqi Violation of the Cease Fire from Gulf War I.

Economy – Big Lie: Tax cuts for the rich, the economy sucks.  Reality: The rich got no tax cut at all, and the US economy has never been larger and stronger, even under Clinton.

Hurricane Katrina – Big Lie: Federal Government is responsible for shortcomings.  Reality: Federal Government has never been in the role of evacuating people in natural disasters, and at best, historically only provides funds to help with cleanup.

Left Wing Piss Is In The Pool, No One Does Shit About It.

Judy Miller’s accusations against Rove, Libby, the Bush administration have been shown to be what we suspected from the outset: nothing but lies.

Once again, the piss is in the pool, and the Republican Party does nothing.

Here’s the piss:
False accusations of the outing of Valerie Plame/Valerie Wilson.
False accusations of Joe Wilson regarding Sadam’s acquisition of nuclear material from Africa.
False accusations of the Left around Hurricane Katrina about the responsibility of Bush/FEMA.
False accusations around the alleged lack of WMD’s in Iraq.
False accusations that Iraq is somehow a failure or another Vietnam.

Bush/Republicans seem to think that the truth will eventually be known.  No, it will not.  Those who control the information outlets don’t want it to.

Time For The Left To Apologize for Judy Miller, Joe Wilson, and Valerie Plame?

Regarding the whole "outing" of CIA "operative" Valarie Plame:

Judy Miller apparently tried to drag in the Bush administration to embarras them.  She was wrong.  It looks like another journalist may have outed Valarie Plame.

There was no vendetta against Joseph Wilson by the Bush administration.  Mr. Wilson originally came back from Niger claiming Bush's assertions that Saddam bought significant quantities of uranium from Niger, Africa, were based upon forged documents.  Wilson also claimed that his wife didn't get him the assignments.  He apparently lied on both counts.

The Senete Select Committee on Intelligence issued it's report on CIA pre-war intelligence: Saddam had indeed purchased significant quantities of uranium from Africa, and Wilson's wife had indeed set him up to go to Niger to investigate.  In fact, Wilsons own report confirms that the documents were not forgeries...he just wanted to bash Bush.

So let's set the record straight:  Judy Miller is a known unethical journalist; another journalist gave her the info that Valerie Plame was a CIA operative; Joe Wilson is a liar, and and left wing lunatic who will go to any means to bash Bush.

Apologies will be graciously accepted.  And they'll happen when hell freezes over.

California Prop. 77: Get Rid Of Sacramento Power Monopoly

California Prop. 77 – Remove the shackles of deceit.

California has been bound to Liberals and their causes for too long.  By carving up  California voting districts in a way that makes it all but impossible for a conservative, or independent, to get elected

Voting districts are currently drawn up by the State Legislature, and approved by the Governor.  Prop. 77 would have retired judges draw up the districts, subject to voter approval.

Voter approval…imagine if voters could approve voting districts.

If this measure passes, you can expect to see many familiar faces in Sacramento fade into obscurity.

Take the power monopoly away from the Legislature – vote YES on Prop. 77.

California Prop. 76: Long needed Budget Reforms

California Prop. 76 – finally a budget measure with some teeth.

Most major liberal political groups (mostly unions) are out to kill this one – Prop. 76 forces the legislature to live within the California budget.  If it doesn’t, the Governor has the power to use the budget from the previous year and make cuts accordingly.  Moreover, in emergency situations (determined by accepted accounting methods and statutes) the Governor will have the ability to cut programs to get the budget on track.

We’ve had liberals at the helm for quite some time, with no accountability, and no ability to hold them in check.  They need to be reigned in on budget and other matters.

The State Budget affects us all, let’s start there by putting Sacramento on a short leash.

Vote YES on Prop. 76.

California Prop. 75: Give Union Members A Real Choice

California Prop. 75 brings some fairness to Union backed politics.

Currently, most Union members are either explicitly or implicitly required to donate to union political coffers, whether or not those members support the causes backed by the Unions.

It’s bad enough that you can’t get a job in certain sectors without joining a union.  It’s bad enough that unions extract dues from their members.

For unions that have compulsory political donation requirements, insult is added to injury.

For unions that don’t have compulsory donation requirements, it’s well known that those who do not donate are kept in a special database and treated differently.  And not in a good way.

The Unions wield tremendous political clout because of the fees they extract from their members.  A full 60% of union members have indicated that they don’t want to donate to their union’s political activities.

Make the Unions truly accountable to their members…give their members a voice.  Let them opt out of union political donations WITHOUT RETALIATION.

Vote YES on Prop. 75.

California Prop. 74: Vote Yes For Accountability

California Prop. 74 is a much needed reform.

The teachers unions are waving a red herring – that Prop. 74 won’t put computers in classes, won’t provide books, won’t provide other resources.

Teachers unions are flat out lying – they claim that under Prop. 74 teachers can be fired without a reason, and with out a hearing.  This is simply not true.

Prop. 74 is about teacher accountability.  Allowing under performing teachers to benefit from the tenure system is absurd.  Our children are at stake, and lobby groups want to protect the jobs of lousy teachers.

No other segment of society gives employees this sort of safety net, and thus performance is required.  To short change out kids in the name of keeping teachers unions happy is absurd.

Enough is enough!  Yes on Prop. 74.

Illegal Immigrants: Troops For Fourth Generation Warfare

Bush is incredible. He gets us into a fourth generation war overseas, which is winnable.

But he also gets us into a fourth generation war by encouraging illegal immigration at home - and it's doubtful whether or not this one is winnable.

When is Bush going to step up to the plate? Never. He's in the back pocket of the Business Lobby.

What will the Democrats do about illegal immigration? Nothing - they're beholden to Pro Illigal Immigration lobbies such as ACLU, Border Action Network(now THERE's an oxymoron!), La Raza Unida, and Mecha.

Most US citizens oppose illegal immigration and support stronger border policies. Any politician who uses this as a major plank in their platform will have a strong support base.
